Thanks for the input! I definitely think that it depends on the market, but yes, incentive is hard to develop these days. That being said, I honestly believe there is a creative solution to everything. With that in mind, I try to think of a creative incentive that someone would want to share with their friends as their “prize.”

Fundraising online was a killer. Did it twice…doing most of the suggestions here. But, society is more and more apathetic. If there isn’t any immediate perk, they are not interested. Audience, readers and followers want to gain something, yesterday. Or maybe, I’m tremendously untalented at ‘marketing.’
