It’s simple. Red Bull dominates the multimedia scene. They are a brand transcended because of it. So…why?
1. Visual content: content is king. Always. Red Bull capitalizes on this by pushing out the most extreme, eye-popping visuals online. Professional and intriguing visual content = more engagement.
2. Copywriting That Matches the Brand: Every brand should have a unique, human voice – a personality. Red Bull attaches wording to its multimedia content that punts images and video content further down the field. Their writing inspires fans’ lifestyles and inspires them to engage.
3. Maximum Interactivity: Red Bull’s brand page is a hub for all things: visual content, jobs, television, events and games. A user can land here and not only engage with others in the community, but engage with the various apps for an extended amount of time.
Do you think Red Bull is doing it right? If not, why?
1. The Scout: We wander in the Pinterest visual playground, liking and repinning anything that catches our eye.
2. The Search: We’re done wandering in Pinterest candy land. We type in exactly what we want to see. Recipes and food are on the brain!
3. The Find: We have waded through all the cakes, casseroles and party dips and finally found THE recipe or food we want.
4. The Connection: We notice the URL sitting at the top of the page, and hey, since we totally dig this tasty visual treat we might want to see if there’s more where that came from, right?
5. The Relationship: That one Pinterest visual that you were foaming at the mouth for has now driven you to that brand’s site and allowed you to fall in love with their food. Chances are you will be visiting this site again in the future for recipes, purchases or to engage with its community.
Do you think Pinterest marketing is an effective way for visual brands to promote their products and lifestyles?

Social media has radically transformed the way we search, buy, and consume content online. Facebook has not only taken advantage of this, it's become the driving force behind the new social web. Google Wave, Google Buzz and Google+ were all Google Inc.'s way of trying to win this war against Facebook, but the company is still far behind.
That's because the current state of Google's contribution is to act as the bottom feeder of social media, by collecting content from other social platforms, but doing little with it.
